Nope. That would be awesome in any caliber. I'd love to have one in .44 Mag.

Yes, but not as much as you would think. If the truth about guns is to be believed, from 26 inches down to 13 you lose about 25fps/inch.

I really like T/Cs, if for no other reason than they used to make them in my old hometown (S&W ). Someday I'm gonna get one, even if it's just a muzzleloader.

Very nice. I owned one for a short time as well.

The rail lengths are different, and of course there's some internal differences, it's definitely a nice homage though. It goes without saying that the full length rails are much more durable.

If they would re-release it in jet black with no odd markings it would be amazing.

Really wanting to get a revolver for no specific reason. Can't decide if I want a part-time carry like the LCR I had and sold or something bigger. Sitting on the thought of something in 357mag. Sitting on a bunch of 38spcl too but I could practice with those I suppose.

Probably never. The whole scout concept revolves around a short barrel. Ruger makes plenty of other rifles with 20"+ barrels.

Get a White Mountain carbine for maximum Northcountry. Half-octagonal barrel is icing on the cake.

1 of 1 Korth. It is a Korth revolver that is a stainless triple lock model with .357 and 9mm cylinders and 8" and 4" barrels. Only 11 regular Korth triple locks were ever made. This is the only Korth triple lock in stainless that I am aware of and it comes with all those extra barrels and cylinders. If bing translate and my schoolboy German aren't failing me, it was the personal project of one of the gunsmiths at Korth and his personal gun and is now for sale. I am so so tempted but just can't justify it.

I absolutely love how its a proper S&W Triple Lock lock. A time consuming design that requires a talented and experienced hand fitter to make work. Its a feature that is functional, if unnecessary, and truly today is nothing more then gunsmith bragging rights.

I'd be very curious to see what kinds of revolvers are in the personal collections of those guys, the old guns that they respect, this gun is certainly proof that they appreciate the classics.

Its a real shame that gun is is so much money. If there is a Korth to own, that's certainly the one. Unless of course you custom ordered a .44 special Korth Triple lock in damascus. That would be the one to own. I wonder how much they would charge you for such a thing?

I am actually very close to hitting the buy it now on this one. I will make a decision in the next few days.
http://egun.de/market/item.php?id=5195656
It is just a standard Korth Triple Lock with a 6" barrel in .357 Magnum with no extra cylinders. It is T009 of 11.

gently caress.

Do it, what's that going to be when it gets to you, all said and done? $3000? $3500? Am I mis-reading this somehow?

I'll make a pact with you. Buy it. If for some reason you want your money back out of it talk to me. It may take me a month to scrape together the money but I'll buy it from you.

Or, if you just ever want to sell it just let me know. That's exactly the Korth I would love to own. If I wasn't saving for the Elmer Keith auction I'd be tempted to poach it.

With all fees and taxes, it'll be just under $3800. What's especially amazing is that Korth's rotate clockwise like Pythons so that the hand is rotating the cylinder in a direction that keeps the crane closed unlike the Smiths which are rotating the cylinder counterclockwise outward against the crane. This makes the triple lock especially unnecessary but what a wonderful addition like a tourbillion on a wristwatch.

It'd be nicer if you had a suppressor that mounted by replacing the Uzi's barrel nut, but otherwise that sounds like a plan.

1) Buy old 3 screw single six
2) Send to Dave Clements for him to convert it to .327 Fed. Mag.

You could just buy a .327 New Model Single Six, but where's the fun in that?
