Yesssssssss. I was watching a couple of these about 6 months ago....both went for just under $2k which seemed
really high to me, but what do I know. They are indeed sweet.

If you're just looking for a shooter, I bought a 2-1/2" 19-3 off GB for I think $550 last year. They can certainly be had for a decent price if you keep your eyes open. It is a pretty cool little gun.

I think DeesGrandpa posted the ad around here somewhere, so thanks again for that.

I had one of those, but I ended up not liking it at all.

Somehow to me it should have had fixed sights. The target sights on it made the gun all wrong. I can't really explain it right. Plus I am probably weird, but I found the gun really cool to look at, but ultimately very displeasing.

A 3" Model 65 would be the bomb too. But that's essentially the same gun, just in stainless. I have a 19-4 2.5" in nickel that I've had for a while. I agree with the adjustable sights, just not really needed. But it seems that the adjustable sight models are more sought after than the fixed sights.

drat, I've got to get some pictures of some of my revolvers. I owe you some for the 2" Model of 1905, 4th Change. Even more so that is it now lettered. That one still blows my mind. Pair it with the 2" Pre WWII Terrier and it's starting to make a decent collection.

Uh. Yeah. Especially now that you have the right stocks for it.

Those are a pair of amazingly pleasing little guns man. I think you are the only other guy on this forum who understands the absurd pleasure of owning those. It's impossible to relate the feeling over forums.

Yep, I have one made by Dakota Tactical. This one is a stock block conversion rather than a wholly converted receiver so the length of pull will be longer by about an inch and a half. Get photos of the inside of the mag well to gauge the build quality if you ever look at buying one.
