Fallen Rib

Shot a Walther P88 Competition on Sunday, and it is one fine pistol. Great trigger, shot a great group with it, even though I was totally unfamiliar. The particular one I tested is for sale too, for a great price.

Then I tried a Pardini GT9. I know there's some hype about these, so let me be the first to say, it's justified. My business did well this year, I think I know what my dividend is going to go towards...

And a pretty handsome stainless Ruger American with a green stock in 6.5 too: http://www.ruger.com/products/ameri...eets/16973.html

God drat, why couldn't they have made this in .308? I want a blued version with an 18" barrel.

6.5 is nice, I guess, but I don't have any long distance ranges nearby. Creedmoor is double the price of .308 and you don't start seeing real benefits until you start stretching out to long ranges, which is opposite the purpose of a relatively compact bolt action. I really considered the one in .450 but rejected it for the same ammo cost reason.

Email some of Ruger's distributors like Lipseys or Davidsons/Gallery of Guns and tell them about your awesome idea. Ruger makes an incredible number of products/SKUs, some at the behest of their distributors but they even make some stuff they don't list on their website as they'll do "clean up runs." and use various parts to make non-cataloged models. The single six Bisleys are an example of a clean up run gun: http://galleryofguns.com/genie/Defa...x?item=RB22AW-C (one left, I'd buy it but there's other stuff I want. I'm seeing like ~$375 locally)

I'm going to end up with one of their scouts at some point but just don't really think I could justify the 6.5 creedmoor or the 450 bushmaster one for the same reasons.

Not bad for first time out. Fired a magazine of 230 gr FMJ first to find the post and ball it liked. Big Dot™ Tritium sights.

Sights are dead on alignment and elevation. Anything not in the red is me wandering. seven yards double action only.

Shooting Hornady Critical Duty +P .45 220 gr FlexLock™ bullets. Which will be what this weapon will carry.

Probably the finest pistol I have ever fired. Certainly the finest pistol I own or will ever own. I'm gonna carry it and shoot it regularly.

Toilet Rascal

A full-size mp5 clone, specifically the omega om9 at atlantic for 922 compliant sbr'ing, but it's out of stock.

They do have the barreled upper only which would let me get the pictogram lower I'd prefer from hkparts but that's another $400 and I'd need mags since the upper doesn't come with any. The little fiscally responsible rear end in a top hat in my head is telling me I can wait a few more weeks to see if the complete gun comes back in stock to save a few hundred dollars though.

The story:

I locate a super rare Triple Lock in Germany
Pay my US importer all costs and fees to buy it from the German seller
My importer pays seller and has seller transfer it to German exporter
German exporter receives Korth
German exporter alleges US importer owes him huge amounts of money from prior deals unrelated to me
German exporter refuses to transfer a large amount of rare prepaid customer guns to US importer
They do not reach any agreement so exporter sells all the prepaid customer guns to cover alleged amounts owed
Importer sues exporter in German court
???

I don't have anything back.
