Thanks, but I already have one.

Not with the pre-War magnas, though.

How legit is proxibid? I remember revolver shopping on there a year or so ago some of the terms/conditions and procedures for purchasing weapons seemed really loving weird and sketchy.

It's legit, but you do need to read the terms for each seller. There is typically a 10-20% buyers premium on top of shipping and FFL fees. You will also oftentimes be bidding against live people at the auction.

Check out all three days of their auction. poo poo is just craaaaaaaazy. It is overwhelming how much cool poo poo they have. If you ask yourself "Do they have X?" the answer is probably yes, several even.

Best part is it can actually accept AR15 magazines as well, so you can swap as you see fit if you don't have access to the links.

The made major modifications to the civilian legal one as per the BATFE, I would hope they fixed the particular problem while they were at it.

Very true, im not sure how much is different but something with the backend I know is very different than the "military spec" version. There was one video by MAC on youtube that went over this.

I never pick 5.56 brass from ranges where the Minimi's been in use lately. Out of the HK it's all fine and good, Minimi-shot brass fails first or second reload. The only thing worse on cases than the Minimi is the MG3. And that's a tall order to even get that close

Has anyone actually confirmed what they were used for? Because I've heard a bunch of different stories and 'shooting people trying to hop the border' is not the most plausible one.

One of my white whales.

I still have a dream of registering an S&W 460 as an SBR, fabricating a stock for it, and immediately flame cutting my forearm off. I've had some ideas on how to avoid that, ranging from a thick piece of leather over my forearm, kind of like how archers have that thing on the inside of their wrist, but I have my doubts about how well that would work. The other extreme is putting one of those little knobs on a stick that those crazy Schuetzen guns have, and attaching that right in front of the trigger guard.

The only info I've ever read on them that I firmly believed was that they were built for E. German police and dumped as part of the general throwing out of DDR gear after unification. Could they have been used by border patrol? Sure. Then again, I'm sure they also had police snipers running around to do the same poo poo we do over here.

Ruger #1 chambered in 9.3x74R, gas checked 260 grain NEI bullet mold, bullet sizing die, and loading die set with neck sizing die. Too bad I didn't have any money for the rifle so chambered with a couple boxes of factory ammo that someone else put on layaway before my eyes. FML

If you file as an individual it's not too long anymore. Submissions are pretty low right now and they've more or less cleared the backlog. Trusts are still taking longer but there's really no reason to do a trust anymore.
