This ground level fighting with actual battle scars has me really invested, like I legit went “Silver, no!” at the last cliffhanger. These shorter fights are way more interesting than the multi-chapter DBZ 1-on-1 with Coyote.

I did it. I read the whole thing. I love this insane comic so much. Genuinely kind of blown away by the heel turn of Cheeto Man/the defenders. I spent a good chunk of the comic going "wow, our team of heroes are kind of unstable dicks" so the twist actually worked pretty well for me. Also dayum the guest art on some of those coyote fight pages was good.
