I have my original install media (InstallESD.dmg), is that all i'll need? VMWare will work with your install media as is. The last time I checked, Virtualbox could boot a premade Lion image but couldn't run the installer, but they might have fixed that by now.

But that doesn't cover storage at all. One SFF-8087 port = 4 SAS or SATA ports. You have to buy a breakout cable if your case doesn't have a backplane that accepts 8087 connectors.
