There's a lot of value in the public being able to see how the system works.

What is the everything (everyone) is terrible font? It is too bad people aren't posting font names, a few of these are actually cool.

* Is Terrible:

COPMPUTERS:
Pix Chicago off dafont or something terrible like that.

Washing Machines:
Neutraface (I love this one so much)

And the chalkboardy one is Sketch Rockwell. It's cute but a little too gimmicky.

Also just to reiterate:

Arial doesn't have a respectable uppercase R, it has a letter P. Wearing a scarf. In the middle of summer.

Not that anyone asked, but I meant that the images you uploaded were awesome. The fonts by themselves (like most fonts) are boring.

It's like that one dude who posted that one awesome unicorn font here awhile back that caused my copy of FontExplorer to wither up and die.

Could you link that? I wasn't around to see it and I didn't see it in the thread list. Or just the username and I'll go from there.

I think I will never get the new search to work for me. Perhaps if I use it to build a list of posts and find the one that isn't present in the results??

Nope. This one had a kajillion nodes per character. Actually, now that I think about it, I had to actually change my view settings to delete it, because Finder would crash tying to render a preview of it.

I can't seem to find a link, though. This is killing me. Where are you, oh magical typographer?

Poor devils.

I'm pretty sure "magical-unicorn" is the simplified version of the unicorn font you were talking about. Here's the thread with the original: http://forums.somethingawful.com/sh...hreadid=3448594

I can't even see any of the glyphs other than the comma and quotation marks, and that poo poo still looks like insane pointillism in FontLab.

I imagine most people aren't posting the names because they don't want anyone else using them ever.

They're awful.

It's not really a novel concept, google chiptune dubstep remix and I'm sure you'll have plenty of results

I have been reading this thread for a while, tobraghetti. Someone mentioned dubstep and I usefully stepped in to shut it down as soon as possible.

Can anyone identify the font in this picture? I want to make a larger version of the diagram for a print but I need to know the font to recreate it.

It's not so easy to tell at that size/resolution and with (almost) all caps.
Let's go with DIN & Friends.

Speaking of DIN based fonts, perhaps this one will spice up those techincal illustrations:
