seriously if you were a Wasteland 2 backer and you didn't get the game you expected that is your problem with reading comprehension. Sure maybe you didn't like the game, but the game we got was the game that was promised.

My understanding was the backer was totally cool with the removal and just wrote a joke memorial about the thing, but I guess some people will just need to find offence somewhere.

i backed the Red Riding Hood game (why) and honestly when the demo came out, it was an unplayable janky thing with awful, murky background art and the main character blends in. i got killed by a persistent rat which i just could not seem to use my axe on. did i mention the demo is a sewer level because that sure is a way to sell your game

when the main game came out the intro is this 2edgey4u telling of how she's gonna murder the gently caress out of the wolf (or some other villain) because her family is dead, her father sent her away to save her from the fairy tale nazi camps and she was raised by her grandma with a massive axe, something like that. then the game starts and they throw you into this white-and-blue snowscape with awkward platforming. i never even finished level 1

For those of you who aren't familiar, the Muv-Luv is a trilogy of Japanese visual novels. In the first one, you play a Japanese high school boy who wakes up to discover a cute girl he's never seen before in his bed! From that point it's a basic high school romance, you have to choose which girl to date, etc. The second Muv-Luv game, which was released in the same package as the first, casts you as the same high school boy, this time waking up one day to discover that your entire neighborhood and most of humanity has been destroyed by aliens. All the girls from the first Muv-Luv are still there, but now they're robot pilots battling against the aliens in a desperate attempt to save what's left of the earth, you have to choose which one to date etc. The third Muv-Luv game is a sequel to the second.

i think that's why people don't want to talk about it!

some rear end in a top hat korean company trademarked the term "tower defense" which is like trademarking "real time strategy" or "first person shooter" so every tower defense game on the app store not made by them had to rename their games "[whatever] TD" and i think can't use the term in their descriptions.

seems incorrect: games cannot have "Tower Defense" in their game title (which means you can't have FARTYPOOP: FREE TOWER DEFENSE GAME 8+ as your game name) and I think you can still have "tower defense" (small caps) in your description

at least they didn't trademark "Defence" like the candy crush ssaga people tried with "Saga"
