Yam Slacker
I'm looking to set up a visiting researcher in my lab with a prepaid sim (for use in a non-smartphone) for about three months. Her GSM phone should be happy on ATT's network, but a quick glance at the pricing options leads me to believe that H2O might be a much better deal. The fact that you can call internationally for the same price as domestic is pretty intriguing, but it sounds like their customer service is a mess. The majority of internet reviews seem terrible, but so far the information I can find is sparse and limited to poorly written reviews on bestbuy.com.

Can anybody tell me about the reliability of the actual phone service (not just customer service) for this and similar companies (and would I be better off in the end just going with ATT directly?)
