Well I just finished my second read-through of the series. In the past two days. My new goal in life is to become a successful and powerful enough actor to produce and star in a TV series of/as Robo that would be hugely expensive but critically acclaimed (though Ron Livingston would be a loving great voice for Robo in animation.) I want more t-shirt options though, particularly a "Remain Calm, Trust in Science" shirt with the Tesladyne logo. I would pay cash money, US cash money for such a thing.

Hopefully the guys at Gencon will have those then. I don't have any :/

They're pretty common these days, you should be able to get them at any good game store and they'll definitely have them all over the place at GenCon.

No, because Jenkins is actually cool and a good character and does useful things.

Bumping the thread for a post from a break during the RoboRPG playtest. The system seems fun but this particular session isn't the best. I almost got raped by a nazi at the start of it.

Who the gently caress is running that session?

I keep reading FATE as FATAL, which is am entirely different RPG system, I'm guessing.

It would be difficult for them to have less in common.

FATAL is the porn RPG with the aspergers like attention to detail on all sorts of inane things right?

Yeah, that's close enough.

I just want a Tesladyne t-shirt with the logo and "Remain Calm Trust In Science" dammit! I have money and I would tender it unto you in exchange for such a shirt.

Even the Dr. Dinosaur twitter account is hilarious.

Anything that has the temerity to bump Jenkins is never afforded a second opportunity to do so. For Jenkins straight murders them, you see.

Holy poo poo, there's an Atomic Robo Kickstarter campaign and I'm going to own a Tesladyne coffee mug someday soon  I still want a Tesladyne t-shirt with "Remain calm, trust in science" on it but this is a drat fine start.

Is this building a merchandise stock too so that you can sell stuff and make future profits?

I'm looking forward to the Field Guide but not nearly as much as I am the coffee mug. Gonna have science with my breakfast.

Yeah, I'd think that Robo's clothes wearing would be more for establishing to everyone else that he is a person.

Today's panel is pretty phenomenal without context. It's still good in context of course, but it stands alone so splendidly.

The books are so fantastic it took me a half hour to realize there was a tiny bit of damage on one of the covers, a tiny bit of silver from the logo stuck to the back of the second book (not complaining, just informing). We will ultimately be able to purchase all of the series in these gorgeous hardcovers right? Because I'm going to make that happen.
