I read this thread and had to make something.
It took a lot of time and my wrists hurt, but it was fun.

Is there any easier way of tesselating? i've been doing it by hand and it takes forever.

I hear you. I just got totally lost in the (dithering?) seems like it was named tesselating in the op. I'm also not very used to picking my colours carefully, as i'm used to changing them underways.

I have a big hardon for dithering/tesselating though, so I'll probably keep doing it. But i discovered some ways of making texture with pixels, like on the (sorta) wooden cross inside my borg thingy.
