Branch of Service: USMC
Career Field 1: 7599 / Flight Student (TBS)
Career Field 2: 7372 / KC-130 Aerial Navigator
Additional Duties: Former Sergeant in the air wing turned boot-rear end Second Lieutenant. Currently at primary flight training at NAS Whiting. I can tell you about life in the wing as an enlisted guy, and being a prior enlisted guy at OCS. Also I was a rifle/pistol coach but that is essentially meaningless :haw: Also also I was on Okinawa for 2 years but most of my Oki knowledge is probably pretty dated by now. Also TBS stories I guess.

Thread updated; Signaleer I added you as reserves since you're going to college right now. Let me know if that changes. Ckwiesr, I put you under AF Reserve and in the government civilian section. As far as I can tell ART means you're a civilian who wears a uniform even when you're not drilling?

vvv Noted, thanks! I'll keep you as two separate entries then.

Just a civilian doing my reserve job full time. The uniform wear varies from base to base depending on how good the units union was at getting them out of uniform after some General got a hair up his rear end and made us all put them on a few years back.

Here is a thing in a thread that has shown me exactly 67 unread posts for a very long time.

Branch of Service: USAF

Career Field: 2W051, Munitions. Ostensibly you get to do something that sounds cool in stories IE build bombs/work on TV-guided antitank missiles or whatever. I have experience with about 90% of the current inventory barring either really new or rare/experimental tech.

Additional Duties: If you want to be unnecessarily divisive I worked in a shop called Trailer Maintenance that while actually falling under the organizational breakdown of Ammo, was the most distantly relative to the job. Even fatbodies in Accountability and Control """directly""" deal with explosives in the sense that they do computer bullshit to keep track of the stockpile. We greasy few out there mostly fixed the munition trailers and made jokes involving racism or poo poo.
