Why are they capping frame rate? Does the game force it?
Hello welcome to the brave new world of Universal Windows Platform where the rules are: no mods, forced V-sync, no SLI or Crossfire support (for now), etc.

This is the kind of thing I've always wanted and it's becoming real very quickly.
Quickly? We've been seeing half-baked and vaporware announcements of this kind of stuff at CES for what feels like decades now.

Speaking of vaporware announcements, whatever happened to that technology that involved putting any two random video cards from any manufacturer into your computer and it would work just like it was a proper SLI/Crossfire configuration?

Perhaps a long shot, but is there anyone working at NVIDIA who’d entertain questions from someone with an offer? Glassdoor and such are helpful, but don’t always tell the whole story so I’m interested in soliciting as many opinions as I can. I have PMs if so.

Keep in mind this is Oculus hardware stats, not all users. There is a selection effect going on here so it's not representative of all gamers. Since you need relatively high end gear to run a rift, it's not a surprise you find high end NVidia on that chart.
The picture on Steam isn't much prettier:

What the hell is the "other" in this case?
I suspect it's more that Steam couldn't identify it due to hacked drivers or something, but it's possible some people are running esoteric cards like S3 Chromes or have an enterprise board from like Supermicro with a Matrox chip built-in.

And remember that the Steam figures include APUs as well, whereas NVIDIA's marketshare is (almost) entirely discrete. Although I guess there might be some old NForce systems still kicking somewhere.
