Is the 7970 Ghz Edition available anywhere? Kind of feels like a marketing stunt in the absence of any product.

Factory Factory posted:It's not just yet, and it's a standard trick: the "paper launch." Lots of top-end video cards have been getting them this year, and some SSDs as well (like Crucial's mSATA M4 drives). I remember the reviews saying they'd be out in early July. I imagine it might be taking longer to do custom board designs as the reference design got fairly bad noise scores.
