I can remember as far back as the Geforce 2 having a "halo" tier for around 400$ and a cheaper version with 25% lower stock clock speeds that only had 32mb of memory vs 64, but otherwise were identical cards. Going from the 1070 to the 3080 is a big jump regardless of DLSS potential. I'll be happy with this machine for a while. Thanks to all the goons with discord sniping pro tips.
