Party members collectively gain Exp in FFIV even if they're not in the group, but only if they'd been in the group previously. If, after washing up on the shores of Mysidia, you solo Cecil to Lv.99, Kain, Rydia, Tellah, Rosa & Yang will all later rejoin the group at Lv.99 as well.

So I'm dicking around with the FF6 Brave New World mod. Apparently in the mod these days a character's level is divorced from their Esper level. Does anyone know if there is any indication of a character's Esper level displayed anywhere? What happens if you hit Lv.50, but still have Esper levels to gain? There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of information about this floating around.
