I just finished goodbye despair a little while ago and I really enjoyed it. Not as much as I did with trigger happy havoc though. I found the characters in DR1 a lot more interesting than the ones in DR2. However I vastly prefer Hajime over Makoto as a main character. Makoto sounds like a huge weenie and I have trouble taking him seriously.

I enjoyed the new mini games excluding the "improved" hangman's gambit. It's more gamey I guess but it is also super confusing. I didn't start to get used to it until the last case and it was too late by then.

I don't know if anyone cares but I just found out that Funimation is doing an English dub of the Danganronpa anime. http://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2015/04/05/danganronpa-the-animation-dub-cast-announced Looks like they only bothered to get Bryce Papenbrook to do his role as Makoto and are replacing everyone else with their in-house voice actors. I've never seen the anime myself but I have not heard good things about it. Mostly that it is very rushed since it only has a 13 episode run time. Still the fact that they are dubbing this is interesting.

I really liked the original dub cast too and I would probably be a little more into it if they got them come back to do it. Just doesn't seem right to change almost all the VA even if it makes sense financially. So I'm pretty meh on the whole deal but I'll probably end up watching it anyways.

Oh! I forgot how great he was in DR2. I think he has a lot of talent as a voice actor but I've never really seen him in anything that shows it. I did like him in Durarara though.
