I maybe in the minority here, but I like what they did with Monokuma's voice. The impression that I got was that he was supposed to sound like a really grating kid's show host.

The only stuff I'm disappointed in is how Jack and Fukawa had two different voice actresses and so did the real Junko. Also Genocider Jack is...a weird name change. It's a minor gripe really since I knew the dub wouldn't be be able to do a one woman Junko show. But I had hopes.  Other than that, it seems to be a good translation and dub. (Blackened aside) I'm really impressed.

I finished watching SDR2 today. I thought I couldn't hate Junko any more, but her influence was so powerful that a bunch of kids mutilated themselves and killed others. Did Gundham's execution remind anyone else about The Lion King? Also, Gundham's Japanese VA was rad as gently caress at the end of chapter 4 The ending makes me wonder: Who would want to bully Sonia and Ibuki? Ibuki probably joined Ultimate Despair because she thought it was a really cool music club.

The end of Chapter 5 almost had me crying. "All All Apologies" at the end made me wish Nanami didn't have to die.  On a lighter note... Well, the AMV did come from Nicovideo, so I guess so? I've noticed a lot of MMD's with DR characters have titles in Japanese. I don't really get MMD's. Are they a Japan Thing or do I not get the idea of characters re-enacting J-Pop music vids? Also, that AMV makes me  every time at the ending. DR2's ending was so good

Everything else was too wacky to really feel impactful, but 1-1 was an execution you could theoretically do for real which made it so much more gruesome. I'll always remember watching 1-1's execution. It seemed far too real compared to the others.
