Holy poo poo that level of detail. I can't wait, this looks like the kind of game I've been waiting for ever since I knew video games were a thing that existed.

Daztek posted:A new official video! It shows the previous video through the many eyes of ctOS. Holy poo poo, this game is going to own. I liked the bit where he raised the car-stop devices in the street, and the possibility of some sweet, sweet side events looks awesome as well.

SolidSnakesBandana posted:Sleeping Dogs was this way. Every time you tried to run over a pedestrian they always just barely jumped out of the way. It looked ridiculous if your goal was to run over pedestrians (you monster) but if you played it with the correct mindset of not trying to kill them then it ended up looking pretty good. I think you're thinking of Driver:San Francisco with that. Sleeping Dogs definitely let you hit pedestrians.

Hakkesshu posted:Ubisoft of all companies wanting to focus on improving their titles should be loving lauded. They've put out a lot of good stuff lately. The Rayman games, Far Cry 3, Anno 2070, the 15 dollar stuff like Call of Juarez: Gunslinger and Blood Dragon, and so on and so forth. The only real misstep I can think of is running Assassin's Creed into the ground.

Chicago at least has buildings that look different from each other, compared to NYC's skyline of "Big ugly square next to another big ugly square".
