This is the answer. Get the LNP, and type "enable autolabor" in the secondary window when you fire up the fortress. Labor issues are solved.

Got my tabs mixed up and for a moment I thought this was the AusPol thread.

Probably not a glitch, more an unexpected outcome:

A bit of a stretch to call this a game glitch but I bought Forza Horizon 4 Ultimate Edition via the Xbox app on my PC and it proceeded to add a start menu item for every single individual piece of DLC. Just barfed them all over the show:

Thanks Microsoft.

The Cheshire Cat posted:

Another funny one is that the only reason Donkey Kong 64 comes with the memory expansion pack is because it had a memory leak that was causing it to crash if running too long and fail cert. The game is 100% functional without the extra memory, but having it extends the time it takes for the leak to crash the game beyond what was required to pass certification.

That doesn't sound right so I looked it up and yeah the claim is disputed:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donkey_Kong_64#Development posted:

According to Rare programmer Chris Marlow, the company could not resolve a bug that occurred without the Expansion Pak and thus they were forced, at great expense, to bundle the game with the memory upgrade.[27] However, Stevenson called Marlow's story a "myth" and said that the decision to use the Expansion Pak was made early on in development. While such a bug did exist towards the end of development, according to Stevenson, "the Expansion Pak wasn't introduced to deal with this and wasn’t the solution to the problem."[23]

Had a similar thing playing No Man's Sky in October last year, missing strings when interacting with manufacturing facilities:

For anyone who hasn't played, it's meant to present you with some dialogue in one of the alien languages and you are then meant to select the right answer. The more words you've translated the easier it is to understand what it's asking for. Unfortunately there's no translation for a NULL string...

I remember back in the day playing pirated games that didn't have any cutscenes where they were supposed to because they got stripped out to reduce the download size.

Also cutscenes are always gonna be a divisive topic but one thing we can all agree on is giving players the option to skip them if they so choose.

Some SS13 shenanigans: https://cohost.org/xkeeper/post/825183-space-station-13-is

quote:

anyway there was a bug filed recently

serving trays grab edible items on spawn and put them onto itself, fairly standard for things like this

problem: human organs are edible

so you would vend a tray, it would spawn in your hands, and then immediately teleport every single one of your internal organs onto itself

Been playing a lot of the new NFS Unbound game. I've noticed sometimes there are small graphical glitches if I play for an extended period, usually just minor things like minimap textures being corrupted or some skybox textures being low-res. However tonight things went hardcore:

Luckily I wasn't being chased by cops at the time and there was a hideout nearby. I would not have enjoyed trying to ditch a Heat 5 pursuit with that garbage all over!

I've had no problems playing other games like Elden Ring. I just chalked it up to NFS Unbound being a relatively new game. Still gave things a dust-out, hopefully my graphics card isn't dying...

Edit: did some more reading, apparently the issue is with the game, heaps of other people are having the same issue, appears to be a VRAM leak of some kind.
