I think all the people bashing Lincoln have the right idea, I mean, when you really study his record, you'll realize that he:

* did absolutely nothing to stop the rise of the Nazi Party in Germany
* allowed polio and malaria to continue unabated despite millions of dollars flowing into the Union treasury which could have been devoted to massive research efforts
* contributed very little to the development of the theories of Maosit Third-Worldism

I think it's reasonable to describe him as history's second-greatest monster, behind Jimmy Carter.
No one is actually bashing Lincoln. When looking at a historical figure you have to look at them as they were in the day, how their accomplishments are considered now, and as they would be considered now. Lincoln is a great man in 2 of those 3 judgements but not the third. Because we take an opposition to chattel slavery for granted in the present, it isn't as much of a big deal when looking at him through a modern perspective. It is worth noting ways in which he'd be wrong in modern society though because he was just a person that did great things, and we are all people who should strive to do things as good as he did. Furthermore, Lincoln being a product of his time while still striving to get over the worst of it SHOULD be an inspiration, and it only works if you show that he was a person with human failings, who was still a product of his time, but still saw an injustice and did his part to correct it. Your sarcasm is stupid, there are many valid reasons to criticize Lincoln, and the counterpoints of his greatness don't make him less great nor do they always need to be mentioned because they are a well documented part of history.

Pictured: literally the only other carrier in the world that could conceivably launch aircraft equivalent to ours that we might ever be in conflict with. edit: oh and China's, but the one they bought they are using for training because they have no pilots that know how to land/take-off from one.

That isn't a steam-catapult launch carrier, so it actually can't launch aircraft equivalent to ours since the aircraft need to be able to take off under their own power. US aircraft carriers use the steam-catapult launch because a fully loaded plane can't actually accelerate fast enough to get airborne on a carrier's short runway, even with the ski ramp at the end of the runway there. With a steam catapult to assist, they can get up to speed with a full payload.

China appears to be fixing that though.

This is a ship hull block, there appears to be a groove in it for a steam catapult.

This would have very low yield. Introduction of chirality for the hydroxyl group into a spot where there is no chirality is going to probably result in a racemic mixture, though it might get some selectivity due to the chirality at the beta carbon. Still, that methyl isn't that bulky so I bet not a lot of selectivity.
