Cost of a condom: $0.20-$2.50

Cost of the pill (per month w/ PP):$15-$30

Cost of an abortion: $350-$550

Cost of raising an average child to the age of 17 in today's America: $300,000

A penny-pinchin' lady who still wants sexin' really can't afford not to have access to birth control or abortions.

Protesters at yesterday's opening of Belfast's Marie Stopes clinic, Ireland's first abortion clinic. Marie Stopes provides the pill to women who are less than 9 weeks pregnant if doctors determine there's a risk to their lives or long-term health.

This is a classic false dilemma. Why can't I have toilet paper that is both ultra strong and ultra soft?

Sadly, I got this picture from an aquantances Facebook, who posted it unironically. This is how she lives her life. She dresses in 1950s attire and serves her military husband as close to this as she can muster.

In high school she wanted to be a senator and had gotten a full ride to an ivy league college.

I'd troll her a bit: what if the husband's decisions have a negative effect on the children? For instance, what would you do if Daddy were spending the kids' college funds on hookers and blow? Don't your duties as a mother outweigh your duties as a wife?

Depending on her response, you can accuse her of a) not caring about children or b) being a hypocrite.:smug:

"Don't be THAT girl," huh? Oh sure, I've had a crime committed against me, but I wouldn't want to hurt a man's fee-fees.

I wonder if it was thrown in the same spirit as this party?

Maybe it was more like this.

This is a couple of pages back, but it reminded me of pictures my dad showed me of a hobo-themed birthday party he had when he was a child in the late '50s. I remember one where he's smearing dirt on another child's face. He looked really happy.
Unsurprisingly, he's a libertarian with a lot of contempt for the poor today. Maybe I'll find the picture again the next time I'm at my grandma's and scan it for you all.

Hollywood Movies With Strong Female Roles Make More Money

Anchorman 2 belongs with the movies where women talk to each other about a man: Veronica and Linda, the two love interests, meet briefly to be catty about Ron.
