The batteries leaked on my 4D maglite and glued the battery cap shut. I managed to get it off leaving vinegar in it for about a week but the switch worked very intermittently after that. My favourite thing with led torches is looking at them to see how bright they are and hurting my eyes, then doing the exact same thing next I use it.
