Do you have a group now? Nope, looking to hook up with one
What are you willing to play (or if you are looking for players for a campaign, what are you playing)? Preferred: D&D 3ed, Shadowrun, Star Wars, GURPS, WOD; I can GM if needed, but would prefer to be a player
Will settle for: Pretty much anything else as long as it doesn't involve buying tons of miniatures or dice.

Availability: Saturday nights and Sundays

What are you willing to play? I want to get a small group of guys together to play a variety of indie/small-press games. I'm thinking games like Dungeon World and The One Ring, but the idea would be that we'd cycle out games and GM's every month or so. I'm also interested in playing more board games.

What are you willing to play (or if you are looking for players for a campaign, what are you playing)? I'm pretty much reserved to the 3.5 or 4th Edition of D&D, but I could possibly get into playing Pathfinder or doing some playtesting of D&DNext if anyone would be interested.

I know that Redcap's Corner does Pathfinder nights on Wednesdays, but I'm not sure if they'd be good people to play with.

What are you willing to play? D&D4 is my jam, but I'm down for anything. With D&D I enjoy running, but it would be nice to get to play. I'd like to try out the new FFG Star Wars game as a player. I enjoy Call of Cthulhu/Delta Green a great deal, and would love to get into a regular game of something Mythos-y. On the board game front, I like Dominion, BSG, Robo Rally, bunches more. Pretty much any fiddly thing that takes as long to set up as it does to play.

Group?: Not really. I've been playing in a 3.5 campaign for the past couple of years, and it's approaching it's end quickly. My guess would be that the group is going to disband afterwards, as half of them are planning to play in another campaign with a different group.
What are you willing to play?: Pretty much anything. I think my ideal would be to have a group doing shorter (~ 6 months) campaigns in a variety of different systems, coming back to popular settings/systems as the members dictate. That said, I'm down for longer campaigns, one shots, or board games. I just like sitting around a table with friends, food, and getting up to imaginary shenanigans :unsmith:.

What are you willing to play? RPG - D&D 4e, 3.5, Call of Cthulhu, Eclipse Phase Card Games - Munchkin, MtG Board Games - Arkham Horror, anything. I'm willing to learn any new system, as well as travel a pretty decent distance provided we get 4+ hours of game time. I will also learn board games and card games (I love new systems, only listed those I'm familiar with enough to GM) provided it doesn't require a large money input from me. Do you have a group now? - If you are looking for a group in Calgary, then yes, so feel free to hit me up and I will see about getting you into one of them. Currently am in a group that runs GURPS and PF, another that does 3.5 D&D, and a third that does 4e plus potentially any horrible poo poo you could imagine (Hackmaster, Rolemaster, Aces & Eights, Shadowrun, WoD, etc.) Email me for more details
EDIT: I have a pretty awesome 4e D&D group running now, but I am looking for additional players and venues in the north end of town; we have a couple guys from Airdrie, so I would like to reduce travel time for them, and split the campaign into 2 parties based on RL geography.

What are you willing to play? 4e D&D.
Would also be up for trying 13th Age, Sacred BBQ, Dungeon World, Gamma World, WHFRP but have no materials or experience with 'em.
I also own a shitload of Axis & Allies games, some of which I haven't even played.

There's almost no Warhammer presence there, or at least none that I've seen. Warmachine is what's big there, and to a lesser extent Malifaux. For 40k, you're best bet in Raleigh is likely Endless Gaming off Hillsborough St, across from Meredith College.

There is some 40k there on occasion, but by far the favored minis game is some form of WarmaHordes.

My advice to you would be to check out their 'Meetup' page to get a schedule on whats going on. According to it, Sunday seems to be the day for 40k. Though at the moment they only have one person signed up on Meetup. I often see a game or two being played, but its not nearly as popular there as I have seen at other locations, nor have I seen them do any of the big GW events.

Do you have a group right now? I'm not running anything, no. But I'm playing a Roll20 game and way the gently caress too many PbPs on these very forums. I literally cannot stop myself from applying.
What are you willing to play? I was introduced to D&D through the version that was most video-gamey, and as such I am of the opinion that 4e is pretty much the greatest tactical combat sim ever. I'd play pretty much anything but when it comes down to it, I prefer more rules and tighter conflict resolution, with the onus on the player to provide strong RP.
Special notes - I want to run D&D. Still trying to nail down people for a Sunday game but if I can get two or three goons I might have enough people. If you are only in this thread for board games, please contact me anyway. I'll show you mine if you show me yours.

Do you have a group now (if so, how many do you have/do you need)? Yes - 2 LARP groups with between 5 and 12 players (details below)and we're looking for as many players as we can grab.
What are you willing to play (or if you are looking for players for a campaign, what are you playing)? We currently have two WoD/MET LARPs running - Vampire: The Requiem and a nWoD conversion of Werewolf: The Apocalypse. The Werewolf game is the smaller of the two and basically we're taking the fluff from Apocalypse and added nWoD mechanics to it. The ST for the Werewolf game is currently converting the cWoD gifts and such over to nWoD mechanics and we use cards to resolve checks as opposed to RPS. Requiem is pretty much Requiem. We also have a board game night on Wednesday nights at the same location we have the LARPs.

Websites for the games: Music City Frenzy for Werewolf and Nashville Unveiled for Vampire and the email address for the ST staff for the games are listed.

More Details: Games are on alternating Saturdays and the schedules are posted on the sites. Our games are not part of Mind's Eye Society, One World By Night, The Garou Nation or any other org so if you have an org character you want to bring over you'll need to work with the STs to get them brought in and you won't get any MES transferable XP or other perks. Both games have a strong core group of players and are stable - the Werewolf game is nearly 2 years old and Vampire is about to hit its first anniversary. At this point we are looking to ramp up the numbers for both games. I'm a founding member of both games so if you have any questions please feel free to hit me up.

I'm a UW student looking to play some board games. I know there's board games on campus Tuesday night but I got a class conflict with that. My collection is non-existant other than a copy of Twilight Struggle, but I'm looking to expand if I actually find some people to play with on a semi-regular basis. I know Just By Chance has an open night on Sunday's that I've love to hit up sometime, and I'd love to get involved with a group and make some friends.

I'm also down to booster draft Magic but I don't really have any decks other than an EDH one that's not on this side of the country.

Do you have a group right now? I play Warhammer 40k pretty frequently with a group of friends, and am trying to start a gaming club in the area (read below)
What are you willing to play? I am open to most games if you are willing to teach me to play. I play 40k and am willing to teach people to play that. I have DMed a fair amount of 4e D&D and played some other RPGs like it. I am also down to try out new board games.
Special notes - Some of my friends and I are hosting a Warhammer 40k game night to try and find more local players to game with. The event will be on Saturday March 2nd at my local church (no religious stuff and all are welcome; it’s just the place where I can rent a room for free) from 5:00PM till midnight. We will have two tables set up with homemade terrain (built by yours truly).

The goal of the evening is to meet new people, play few games of 40k, and see if there is any interest in starting a gaming club in the area. If your new to the hobby or haven’t started playing yet I will be bring both my Necrons and Dark Angles armies and would be happy to share and introduce you to the game. If you are not interested in playing 40k but are interested in other games it might we worth while just to pop in and see whats up. I know that most of us play lots of different types of games.

Like I said all are welcome regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, or religion however some behaviors are not welcome. Firstly no recreational drugs or alcohol are allowed (sorry beer-hammer folks). Secondly language must be kept friendly, this means no cursing or offensive language (human being, gay, bitch, retard, ect.). Lastly, this should go without saying, be respectful of other people and be a good sport about gaming. If you want to come please follow these rules.
