They just added a change to the patch notes. The Turian fitness buff now applies to Batarians also.

I have great success with a BatSent using a Kishock on plat. Being able to one shot a Phantom is a great feeling, and submission net makes it impossible to miss.

Volus are insanely useful for objective waves, but I don't think I will ever be topping a score chart with them. Awfully hilarious when partnered with a Krogan though. Collectors are absurd strong, though. Hopefully it will become a bit easier when I get a bit of experience fighting them.

As excited as I was for the Volus, the Turian Ghost might be my new favorite class. It combines the DPS of the Geth Infiltrator with the survivability of the Krogan Vanguard. It is absurd. Also the jumppack dodge is amazing. Slap a Harrier on him and go to town on everything.

This new DLC is leading to some epic moments. Just played a game of Reaper Gold Reactor. Wave 10 hack 2 banshees and a brute are about to smash us, little Volus Adept activates the reactor and charges into it, luring all three after him. His noble sacrifice surely saved the day.

So I had the most hilarious thing happen to me yesterday. Was playing the hazard reactor map. I saw an enemy in the reactor so I pushed the button. Little did I know that it was the last enemy of the wave. All my allies charged in to finish it off. Wave ended, they got incinerated, and the next wave started with just me alive. I felt a bit guilty, but I couldn't stop laughing for the next three waves.

I kinda liked the Asari Sentinel, but that might be because it is the first class that has actually made me detonate my armor ability. I think I got more tech armor points in this one game than I have in every other game combined.

Halloween Challenge – Complete the three Halloween challenges to earn the Halloween Challenge Banner. Ghostbuster: Requires 5 extractions on Firebase Ghost or Firebase Ghost Hazard Zombie Hunter: Requires 7500 points against husks/abominations. Monster Killer: Requires 10000 points against brutes/scions/praetorians/banshees. All challenges can be completed on any map at any difficulty.

So yes, the Batarian Vanguard is every bit as amazing as I expected. Took him into a Reaper Gold game as a level 8 and just dominated. Punching dudes in the face never gets old.
