The buffed KroGuard is so tough I was able to play 4 silver rounds in a Server in Russia- and didn't desync once. The Russian chatter was non-stop, the game a wee bit laggy, but despite all expectations it worked. Why did I stay 4 rounds? Because evidently Russian pubbies are awesome. ABC!

The buffs have made Batarian Sentinel into almost KroGuard levels of fun. The lvl 6 Submission Net & Falcon Punch combo is hilarious. If punching someone's head off is wrong, I don't want to be right. . . I promoted the Sentinel class and have been repeccing it. Thoughts on Blade Armor- is it worthwhile post-buffs?

The one hope for Krogards avoiding the nerf bat, is that they normally are not used for W/G/G farming. Given Bioware's hilarious obsession with stopping only that form of farming, Krogards may be safe. Of course Bioware will ruin any gun that's fun or we enjoy using. . . /I farmed W/G/G with my Krogard for funzies. No biotics made it harder, but still did ok.

So what "underplayed" class(es) and weapons should we take out for spins with the new patch and balance changes? Seems like I always see the same 6-8 characters used. Same thing for weapons. I have decided on a "play something different" weekend. And only play underused characters and weapons. Suggestions/Opinions?

Played a ton of Kroguard. Have not played many human/cerb classes, I think those may be prime candidates for play something different weekend. With the latest buffs my Crusader IV has been getting some use now too. A singularity based build maybe fun to mess with.

The ME/ME2 Lore was murdered dead by the ME3 single player disaster. And seeing nobody is buying ME3 SP DLC like they did for ME2, catering to us ME MP players is how they will keep the $$ coming (and avoid getting shitcanned by EA). And we want playable Volus. Hey Bioware, if you are going to steal the TF2 business model can we get some drat hats already! My Vorcha needs a pink Fedora. Breaking Fans- in style!

While everyone talks about the nerf bat coming for the KroGuard, I think the N7 Constant Grenade Machines is getting nerfed as well. Why? Go to your friendly pubbie W/G/G match- what to you see? N7 Constant Grenade Machines everywhere. Curious as to why, I took mine out for some W/G/G. Plain and simple- its Easy Mode engaged. And given Bioware's game breaking obsession with stopping W/G/G farming, that is going to end. My prediction- they cut the grenade drop by 50% per machine and extend the time between drops by 50%. I bet both classes get nerf batted the day the DLC drops.

Nice to see Bioware's unhealthy obsession with farming continue. You think they will revert all the broken Geth mechanics they added? Or will we just farm something else? BTW, even more then the Volus, this made me happy: Batarian Brawler (Biotic Charge, Blade Armor, Lash) This may be even more fun than the Kroguard!

Upon reflection, I am not sure the new factions and map changes are fun yet. It feels like a few balance changes are needed first- we are basically play testing for Bioware. Seeing I am at 219 hours played, maybe taking a short break from the game while the fix some of the balance issues may be healthy. But I have both Volus classes, and haven't even tried my new Turian. Maybe just a few quick Silver rounds. . .

I kind of like the M-11 Wraith. Sadly, mine is only level 2 but its probably the first weapon I will get an achievement on, as I have been running in on my KroGuard with choke/pierce. Finally got the N7 Vanguard last night- suggested weapons for that class (assuming I ever stop playing Insane Melee KroGuard).

Bloodpack Mastery looks to be the most fun achievement to go for (I was trying to pick one). Most of the classes and weapons are fun. Doesn't seem to be a surplus of terrible weapons/maps/classes that the others have. Noticed a few other goons targeting it as well. Krogans, Vorcha and Batarians- this is a grind I can support!

Thanks Thundercloud and exquisite tea- that's great information! Its too bad Bioware didn't put in an achievement for Medigels used, maybe pubbies would use a few more. Its seems like they instantly burn them without giving anyone a chance to revive them, or that they let themselves get stomped out 25 seconds into a wave.

Umm, Wow. That new Giant Hazard Map is pretty good for Gold- 4 straight extractions with pubblies with Random enemies (everyone but Geth is what we got). Holding the top is pretty good- but drat the escort missions can suck. . . Got my Shaman, but he's on the bench until the Bloodpack badge is mine.

Quick question- for the weekend challenge, can we set the game to private so we can solo it? My KroGuard doesn't like anyone shooting his punching targets. Also suggested maps/opponents? Any equipment tips? Also, I am assuming bronze has enough enemies if you solo it and punch them all you get the Gold. Is that correct?

Just noticed that my Assault Rifle Omni-Blade is level 5, while my shotgun Omni-Blade is level 3 (but my Shotgun Blade Attachment is level 5). Hmm what to use for extra punchy goodness?
