You Am I posted:I guess if the panel has been warmed I can see that happening I mean....it might anyway? But like.....take off the door card and push on it or use a dolly. This isn't super mechanic body guy stuff. Do that on a panel I can't get reasonable access to from behind and I'll be impressed.

The ‘56 seems to dwell on the shadow of the ‘56, and certainly the ‘57. I don’t actually like ‘58s near as much as the other two. I am biased: my dad has had a ‘55 literally as long as I can remember.

The 58s sold about 500,000 less than the 57s, they didn’t like them then either. Could have been the depression they had in 58, though.

The only picture I have of my dad as a teenager is him standing next to his (lightly used) '57 Chevrolet.

This is brave and will hopefully make some people realise about the treadmill plane question's answer. Maybe. Some of that lot were thick as gently caress. https://twitter.com/ZachHonig/status/1291188125935505408?s=09

I think a lot of small plane airports will have a special truck just for that purpose. In regions that use float planes anyways. Delivering a new plane to a body of water is probably really complex. But delivering a normal plane to an airport, converting it to a seaplane, then getting towed for takeoff? Simple!

Craptacular posted:Maybe it's just me, but that looks like the car body is photoshopped on top of some other vehicle. I can tell by some of the pixels, and seeing quite a few 'shops in my day. But seriously, it does. The body is just kind of draped on the wheels without much evidence of a beefy frame underneath. The rear wheel has no travel without getting into the sheet metal, also something weird going on at the front corner.
