Squad car generally refers to a patrol car, or a beat car. AKA a car you can stick someone in the back of. The Mustangs/Camaros/Challengers/Corvettes that various PDs have goofed with over the years are generally pursuit or response units... no back seat, not really a day to day 'squad' car.

Generally, it's spergin anyway.

This isn't the case at all in WA, there's a bunch of cities that use chargers as their squad cars. It's weird because all the places with no crime have massive fleets of chargers, while the few places in WA that actually have real crime run off of beat to poo poo crown vics still. The suburbs of Seattle have a bigger law enforcement budget than Seattle (probably the most well funded suburban police force in the country) I don't mind, because chargers make for the stupidest/easiest to recognize undercovers.

e: apparently chargers are cheaper for them to use because the interior strips easily and it fits all their gear without a bunch of modifications.

Maybe I'm the only one, but I think that was just stereotypical German sterility and emotionless engineering boasting. Since everyone is already making sex analogies, I will say it is the automotive equivalent of a gynecological exam.

As a counterpoint to my argument, the woman is exceptionally beautiful, and she's making some really sexy noises in the process. Now I'm confused ... but I think I understand German porn better now.

It sure beats a lot of other car ads, and I'm sure it cost way less to shoot. Simple and to the point.

Call me crazy but I don't like it. I can't quite put my thumb on why either. I don't like the Italian flag trim especially. It makes sense but it's just not aesthetically pleasing to me.

It looks way better in those other pictures than the scan, but I still really don't like a lot about the front end (mainly those weird vent things going on underneath the headlights)

That 3.0cs deserves to be bought by the kind of person who would fix it up. That exterior is quite nice for a bmw of the era going off the pictures.

And that's why you don't buy your kid a new car for their first car. I know. I can already hear you say "buuuuut safety!!" Its called natural selection.

Is a storm watching Baja awesome AI material or wrong thread? Sorry for the crappy cell phone shot, traffic was making it hard to speed match.

Looks like a pretty sweet practical use for an oddball car.

Guessing that's actually just an amateur radio antenna. They might still do storm chasing, but i think it's just a HAM freak. :)

I know I'm like 200 posts late but is that HAM equipment? I figured storm watching because this was the day after a pretty decent (for the area) lightning storm. Still awesome because it's a baja.
