As was mentioned, only if you got a big block. Small-block GMT400s made do with the 4L60E through the end.

And how lovely/under-spec is the 4L60E? Our '97 L31/4L60E Suburban blew the transmission to bits at 40k miles.

This guy's whole channel is :sickos: poo poo like this, it's amazing. There aren't many youtubers where I'll go through and watch the back catalog but this one is worth it.
