How loud was it? I'm going to the ALMS race in a few weekend's time and would rather keep my hearing intact.

I did a Grand Am weekend last year, and the RX-8s were the ones who did damage. Loud is one thing, loud + piercing is a whole other level of pain. Will wear ear protection, thanks.

It looks really good and I think somebody posted like the super alpha where it was just the truck colliding into the 80s Japanese econohatchback. The only thing that seems immediately off is the lack of the cabin deforming in most of these crashes. I would expect the roof to ripple and the cabin to be compromised, but IANAP (I am not a Physicist).

I'm going to do some A/B testing for a friend regarding Miata intakes. The short of it is that he wants to use a 3D printed intake tube that will go into the bumper cover and have access to ambient air versus having a hot air intake within the engine bay. It's some Next. Level. poo poo. Materials and shipping are like $35 for the printed tube.
