I love that showing his support for the seahawks is less important than showing his love for Trump and Shrek as a lumberjack.

Is Shrek as a lumberjack some reference I don't get? And I didn't even know they made trucks with three doors on each side.

It's because the truck has a poor departure angle, the wheels are there so when rolling over the top of some stupid liberal in their prius he doesn't scrape the bumper.

I think accessory under-drive pulley is more likely, but imagine having to explain how it works to idiots who buy trucks like that.

I wish I had that kind of peace of mind. When I run a 1 1/4" hitch bicycle rack on my car I always run a strap from the rack up to the top of the hatch because every wobble I see in my rear view stops my heart. I'm curious if there's any situation where one of those 1 1/4" to 2" adapters is actually advisable.

, though it'll have to happen after I do rear suspension. It sags noticeably with just a 40 pound pail of cat litter in the back. Me sitting on the bumper (~175 lbs) drops the back of the car a couple of inches. I suspect one of the POs used the hitch.... a lot. I haven't seen another 2nd gen Outback that's this saggy. randomidiot fucked around with this message at 22:11 on Sep 20, 2020 |

Thule's products, though the name brand, is also a great buy. I know an engineer for the company who posts photos of them at Lime Rock trying to get racks to break. They easily could just do computer FEA, but I like to think they sit in a meeting room looking at each other for all of a minute before pulling up Lime Rock's schedule on the projector.

Me sitting on the bumper (~175 lbs) drops the back of the car a couple of inches. I don't have any trouble with one of the Harbor Freight trailers (modified a bit): New springs and struts, though. I just can't load the trailer much, since it is the Class 2 1-1/4" receiver. I need to modify my cargo basket so it sits higher on the Crown Vic. I'll see if I can't come up with a better way to attach it to the 1-1/4" hitch on the Subaru as well, though I'd really prefer to start with the lighter aluminum one for that.
