Before she brought it to the dealer, she was expecting to have to pay for a brand new one but I told her about how Nissan is getting sued over them right now and she should bring that up to the service writer. Well the service writer basically bent over backwards and called Nissan corporate and they replaced the trans for free and did all sorts of other maintenance she had missed, on the house too.
