beergod posted:I haven't listened to a proper country record in years and I randomly picked up Southeastern and it is by far my favorite record this year. I am blown away by it. Well,it may not be "country," per se, but Southeastern as an album reminds me above all else of Ryan Adam's Heartbreaker. (Plus, Ryan Adams was going to produce Southeastern but had to drop out for some reason.) I may be the only one e,se who hears it, but I don't know, it always comes to mind.
