elf help book posted:They had the offer before Steam said to not do it. More importantly, as I've read, they were already Greenlit before Valve said not to do it. Valve said that the most immediate consequence for trading games for votes would be that it would slow down Greenlighting because its not an accurate picture of public interest.

Looks like I'm going back to the Greenlight well! Crossposting from the Steam thread: Our newest game Stick & Move is up for voting on Steam Greenlight! If you like high-score arcade-puzzle games like Super Hexagon or Pivvot this will probably be up your alley. To crib from the description:quote:Stick & Move is an arcade game about spinning and navigating your way through maze-like obstacles. Collect dots to build up your power meter and unleash explosions to carve your way through walls. Do flips to build your point multiplier but don't touch the walls, saws, or explosive blocks! Current version features one game mode, five color schemes, and a pounding synthwave soundtrack. Future updates will add: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-S0J-CUvQwY If what you see strikes your fancy you can buy the game right now for $1.99 off itch.io and get a Steam key when we're accepted: http://ghost-crab-games.itch.io/stick-and-move Please spread the word and if you guys have any feedback about the game or what we've presented so far I'd love to hear it. Thanks! http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=425021966
