How do the badass rank stat increases work? With enough time grinding them, could you theoretically go up to +10000% or something silly like that?

Hyperious was designed for people who thought terramorphous was trivially easy. You can't beat it because you're not supposed to be able to beat it. It's really a post-content thing. After you've already done everything, you grind loot to let you beat raid bosses.

This is kinda true. With the way damage scaling works, if you're level 60, all of a sudden all of the endgame content from the previous DLCs becomes trivially easy.

I just find it annoying that they made things incredibly difficult, if not impossible (ie, Bunker) for melee speced characters, especially Zer0 since he's got one and a half skill trees dedicated to being melee. I know this is a game about guns, however it sucks to be pidgeon-holed in the case of Zer0 to only be ranged if you want to be relevant.

I think it's kinda funny that you think zero is bad against the bunker even though he has a skill that lets you kill the bunker in 2 hits.

If this is happening, it might be because your sticks or triggers are outside of their deadzone. I had this problem until I realized that my control stick was stuck just slightly to the left of center, and moving it back immediately fixed it.
