VLC's never been that impressive of a player. It's just convenient that it's self-contained.

Yeah, I think we have a general Windows thread somewhere. And as for context, I use Windows 8.1 on a desktop system with a large, 1080p screen and have no issues with the start screen. Again, the fastest way to do stuff is with commands that have been in Windows for ages.

Yeah the right click menu in the Windows button is incredibly useful and a lot better than how i used to do things.
