DrManiac posted:Speaking of anime wizardry knock-offs, what ever happened to class of heroes 2? It was supposed to come out in this fall but I haven't seen any news on it for months. They're still aiming for a 2012 PSN release so could be the end of this month or in December.

Filthy Monkey posted:I am new to this stuff. What is the benefit of scanning in somebody else's guild QR code? Players can designate one of their created party members to represent their Guild Card with a QR code. Scanning them will allow a 6th "Guest" character to join your party. Guest characters will only have the skills/equipment at the time they were scanned.

Here's my team as of last night. Front: Fortress/Dancer, Bushi/Nightseeker, Nightseeker/Bushi Back: Sniper/Arcanist, Medic/Arcanist The Fortress and Bushi were retired at level 41. Bushi used to be a Swordsman so I will miss Power Break and Mind Break, but the absurd damage output of a dual wielding Bushi makes up for it. code:

The White Dragon posted:Ahahahaha oh man, I got a kick out of this. Gyoru being a ripped lionman is like that one Tony Hawk LP where the guy made his in-game avatar this ten-foot-tall viking. Nightseeker and Bushi were meant for one another. /Bushi is better as both a TP battery and for damage. Bushis have a passive that heals HP every time for every normal attack. When dual wielding, this effect is doubled since it counts each strike. Bushi mains also heal TP in addition to every strike. Releasing Blood Rage, an infinite duration damage multiplier that consumes HP+TP every turn, will heal HP and TP. There's a reason a lot of jobs prefer going /Bushi. Might as well go over the rest of my team: - Snipers are mid-late game bloomers. They will seem terrible at first because they don't have access to Crit gear and their skills have a low Bind chance. Don't give up. My sniper crits about 85% of the time for 250-300 damage. 375+ on flying enemies. They can chase their own binds as well for additional damage. /Arcanist helps with their TP pool and landing binds. - I settled on Medic main instead of Arcanist/Medic because the medic's class skill amplifies all healing so it boosts the Arcanist's circle HP regen. Circles are a 10 TP full party regen for 3 turns (you can keep casting it to extend the duration) that also tries to afflict ailments or bind the entire enemy party at the end of every turn. My Nightseeker used to be my go-to for afflicting ailments, but my Medic does a great job now that he has the Arcanist's ailment/bind chance passive. Not that I really want to fight them again, just hoping they're gone and don't bother me anymore. It takes a few ingame days for FOEs to respawn. I want to say it's around 14 days. Bosses respawn in 30 days.

I retired my Lv53 Nightseeker/Bushi into an Imperial/Runemaster and boosted up to Lv45 using one of those key items. Imperials are loving amazing. They are elemental burst damage fiends who have almost as much DEF as a Fortress. At only Lv45: Drives hit for 1700-2000~ on an elementally weak enemy of a similar level. This normally one shots everything . Imperials are self sustaining TP batteries thanks to passives that restore TP when exploiting elemental weaknesses and when they get a killing blow on an enemy. They also have an active skill that costs 2 TP (10 total since you need to chain 2 skills in succession) and restores 35 (25). There's another passive that causes any single target skill to splash to targets in the same row so Drives can hit multiple enemies without any damage penalty. /Runemaster further amplifies their elemental damage and gives them access to passives that have a chance to mitigate elemental damage to their row and one that makes a skill not cost any TP. Also they have the best portraits. Gyoru fucked around with this message at 17:04 on Mar 1, 2013 |

Updated my guild card. Here they are after beating the main game. Everyone except for the Sniper has been retired at some point. Front: Fortress/Dancer, Bushi/Nightseeker [used to be a Landschnekt], Imperial/Runemaster [used to be a Nightseeker] Rear: Sniper/Arcanist, Medic/Arcanist Roles: - Fortress: Currently has 848 HP. Can reach almost 1k with food. Spends the first turn Taunting if Auto-Taunt didn't proc and then Ramparts the next turn. While Taunt and/or Rampart are up, she uses Party Shield, Line Shield, or Defend depending on the situation. Everyone on the front row will heal when they Defend thanks to Healing Wall. Guard Mastery is hilarious because it has a chance to completely nullify any damage. It's amazing if it procs with Party Shield. - Bushi: Physical DPS with access to Fire and Ice single target attacks. Blood Rages on the first turn if it didn't autoproc. Spends most of the time autoattacking since it heals HP/TP every attack or twice with dual wield. He's almost always at full HP/TP as a result and rarely needs healing. Shockwaves against big groups like those 5th Maze moths or bats. - Imperial: Elemental Burst DPS with access to Fire/Ice/Lightning. Mainly used to exploit enemy weaknesses and one shot trouble mobs. While drives are cooling down, Sharp Edge->Impulse Slash combo heals TP. The Free Energy passive procs often so that saves a lot of TP as well. Has passives that give a chance for single target skills to splash onto targets in the same row. Great if it procs during a Drive because she'll one shot multiple mobs. - Sniper: Binder. Crits for a decent amount of physical, but doesn't come close to my Blood Raged B/N. All binds are at max level so they have 100% accuracy though not bind chance. This is great for hitting high evasion enemies like Hollows or camouflage lizards. - Medic: Healer and status ailment inflicter. Releasal Spell resets an enemy's bind/status resistances at a heavy TP cost. I've used it a few times on bosses including the final boss. With all my Heal bonuses maxed, active circles heal the entire party for 50~ HP at the end of every turn so he rarely has to manually heal someone besides my Fortress. code:
