I've been terrible about Indian food, and I've yet to make that daal that I've told everyone that I'll make. Thanks for this thread, it's inspirational. The last "Indian" I made was butterchicken, and though it tasted awesome, I feel it barely qualifies. Edit: Even "barely" is giving it too much credit, isn't it?
