Devils Affricate posted:Probably also helps that they're like 1/3 the normal length As much as it surprises me to say this, but if the chapters are going to be this long going forward (which is fine since I dont want my favorite creators to work themselves to death) I think I would rather just go to monthly releases. Many recent chapters have felt like half-chapters which has diminished the hype, in my opinion. Like the end of the Sweet Mask arc was awesome, but a bit anti-climatic between Saitama catching the rock, then a new chapter 2 weeks later where he just jumps the two of them away.

i missed the bit about neo where they're "more reasonable", so i appreciated black sperms aside that if you aren't putting insane heros like tatsumaki out to cut like 5% of the globe's surface off from the planet without blinking an eye, humanity would get overwhelmed pretty quickly. the continent swamping tidal waves are just the price you pay

Very strange choice for the anime to use the pre-redraw, retconned chapters for Child Emperor vs Phoenix Man. Genuinely not sure if that was intentional or if the producers actually didnt know there was a more recent version. Maybe it's all a big meta joke and they'll redraw the episode ?

Okay I'm finally spoiling myself after a decade or something and I have to say the art is quite charming. This isn't even the OG stuff though, right? It started as a webomic? I think there was at least one sidestory based on the king gimmick added to the manga that isn't in the webcomic, and it always makes me laugh. (Webcomic garou still the better rendition though)
