People say bigger is better.

But for the first time in my life, I think I've gone too far.
Tickled by the fact that I don't remember Lily being named at a single point in the 245 chapters on Shonen Jump.

Seeing Black Luster for the first time was insane.

Tien is the dark knight, since he uses his own life force for his biggest attack. Krillin is the sneak attack rogue, since destructo disk will one-shot anybody unaware of it coming unless they're immune for some reason.

For all of its problems, one thing that Onepunch-Man World (the mobile game released last year) got really right was the cutscene and animation design. They pretty faithfully recreated the anime and manga's big moments from season one, and made them interactive like the Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm games.

They also put a ton of detail into recreating the cities and buildings you can enter. The hospital, the Blizzard bar, the sewers, all these little shops, the Association headquarters, even a movie watching minigame at the theater. You can run into heroes hanging around town and chat with them.

drat shame it's basically been dumpstered for months with no updates, along with questionable monetization.

In the MangaPlus mobile app, you get one free read of every in-between chapter of a running series. The hard paywalls are for finished and archived series.

No warcrimes in Chef at the Adventurers' Tavern. But that comes with it being a chill, low stakes story outside of sourcing non-sentient monster flesh so his adoptive dragon daughter doesn't die of malnutrition.

Our guy got isekaid and all he cares about is serving people good food at his tavern, hanging out with his friends and regulars, and being a doting father. No harems (only one woman is trying to court him and he is too dense to notice), no slaves, no overpowered skills (he is completely unable to fight and is a normal dude). Just a dude who loves finding ways to make something edible out of seemingly inedible plants and animals.
