Will it spoil me posted:What are some examples of fantastic delivery and timing? Tig Notaro's newest set, Live, is good for a million different reasons, but I think the delivery is just amazing. She's performing a short 30-minute set, and just a few days before, she found out she had breast cancer. So it's coloring everything she talks about, and she pushes through just telling jokes to making this genuine connection to the audience. In addition, the way she talks about all the misfortune in her life just has this great impact. It delivers very well. It reminds me of those SNL Debbie Downer skits, kind of.
