Man, Chie might have the most voiced lines in the game. It's crazy to think that she'll have a different voice.

I liked her new voice actress just fine in the anime, but man, the director in the game really needed to rein her in a bit. She's fine when she's not yelling, but so far (3.5 hours in) the vast majority of her lines are WAY too loud.

Is there a way to set a single one of these to my Vita's wallpaper other than individually setting the wallpaper for each page?

I ask because the way I did it makes it fade to black each time I switch pages and it's annoying. I figured if there's some "universal wallpaper" setting hidden away somewhere it would stop the fading.

I asked this in the Vita thread a couple days ago, and apparently no, no there is not. Which is really dumb.

I haven't actually seen the Reaper yet, but, uh....I do sometimes hear rattling chains if I explore a floor too long. It's unnerving.

I think the way it works in this game, unlike Persona 3, is that if you stay in a dungeon too long you start hearing that, and then he'll be in one of the treasure boxes if you haven't opened them all yet. You'll be really thoroughly warned about not wanting to open it by your support character, and if you ignore it you have to fight him. The first time I had no idea what it was so I went for it and got killed in a single turn. This time it was right at the end of going through an optional dungeon Floor 1, so I said gently caress it, and then won.

I just beat up Shadow Teddie with no problems, but the tanks and champion knights were all doing like, 400-500 damage and just what I feel like I'm going about everything all wrong...

Also who's good on a team? I'm using the first three to join you but I have no idea who to keep around now that more options are popping up

It sounds to me like you probably need to grind more if they're hurting you that bad, or maybe get better armor. All you get in P4 is an armor that gives the main character extra EXP which is pretty lame honestly. In Golden you also get a Gold Trophy :v:

You unlock Izanagi no Okami just by getting the true ending, in P3 you had to max all the S Links to get the ultimate persona but not this time.

You also unlock the spoilered boss fight by getting the true ending then doing this on your second playthrough:

-Beat the optional boss in Heaven
-Get to Dec. 24 without having beaten/entered the last dungeon

I think that was it.

Anyone Platinum this yet (If you did what the gently caress), any Trophies that would be especially troublesome? I know maxing S Links on NG+ should be easy, reading all books will be ok as long as I follow a guide, I'm worried mainly about the optional boss who I heard has been made harder in Golden.

All you have to do to get that boss is:

You have to get the true ending, and then be on the path to the true ending in NG+. Beat all optional bosses by the time the true ending starts and you're saying goodbye to everyone, and then go into the velvet room and talk to Margaret again after you get the orb thing but before you go fight the real final boss.

I've never seen the anime, but in P4 Arena anyway it comes off like that was the intended relationship between Yosuke and the hero. There's a running bit in that game's story mode where the protagonist keeps picking at Yosuke for his preference in jerk-off material.

The dub's pretty good, some of the choices they made were weird like Kanji saying twat, but they've managed to actually completely remove the honorifics and make it sound natural. I don't think I need to repeat how good Naoto's voice is in it so I won't. Although I'm gonna repeat this, recasting JYB as Yu and Adachi is one of the dumbest things they could've done, it brings down JYB's overall focus because now he has to do double work for two characters with full dialogue and if they ever converse with one another (Which they do) then poo poo just gets weird. The raspy voice is really grating and it just begs the question of why they didn't just recast Yu or Adachi, preferably Yu. That's like the biggest complaint I have with the dub though, so that's that.

I'm almost 100% sure they're the same voice actor in everything (Japaese game, American game, and American anime at least, not sure about the Japanese anime) on purpose. Giving the (LATE GAME SPOILERS)hero and villain the same voice to show they're different aspects of the same thing/different routes that had the same starting point isn't uncommon.
