Time for some content. My grandpa passed away last month at 95. He was a seabee in ww2 and was at Guadalcanal. Here are a few of the pictures I have from him. I also have some negatives that I'll try to get developed later.   this was on the back of the last photo, he punched an officer.

Good to see that this modern stealth ship has the good old reliable 5 inch gun. Oops, it's actually a 155mm (6.1 inch) gun. So slightly larger than some of the guns mounted on ww2 soviet tanks&tds.
