My Fire stick remote controls my TV and receiver and turns them both on and to the right input by just hitting the home button. It owns.

I have the same setup except an older model. I use the fire stick remote for everything. I don’t touch the denon remote at all.

Plugged into the receiver. The only thing I have plugged into my TV is the receiver. I hit the power button on the fire stick remote and it turns on the tv, then the receiver and sometimes the ps5 too.

KOTEX GOD OF BLOOD posted:No I'll definitely have a second person help me, I'm not insane, just trying to figure out how to get it past six flights of stairs and a short ride in a uhaul, twice, without bending it. I am really ocd about bending this thing. It's a $2k tv after all. Uhaul sells boxes specifically for TVs. Best bet would be to get one.

I’ve installed maybe 40 TVs at the manufacturing company I work for. I’ve seen it bend even with the size and weight ratings. Not a lot mind, but enough where you can see the back of the mount. Bugs me.

Some mounts allow you some movement to the left or right. The mounts tend to have many holes so you can mount to the studs and still center the TV.
|
# ¿ Jul 24, 2021 17:15 |
|
Yeah I've done that. Or bolt a 2x4 to the studs and then the TV mount to the 2x4.

Heh I have a B7 OLED and I'm considering upgrading. What's holding me back is the lack of hdmi 2.1 receivers. Once those are more prevalent at a decent cost, I'll upgrade. I do think the OLED is a good bit better than the TLC, but I'm not sure it's a massive difference unless you're going all 2.1. Also I want to go from 65" to 77".
