JOINING THE SA FORUMS WILL REMOVE THIS BIG AD, THE ANNOYING UNDERLINED ADS, AND STUPID INTERSTITIAL ADS!!!

You can: log in, read the tech support FAQ, or request your lost password. This dumb message (and those ads) will appear on every screen until you register! Get rid of this crap by registering your own SA Forums Account and joining roughly 150,000 Goons, for the one-time price of $9.95! We charge money because it costs us money per month for bills, and since we don't believe in showing ads to our users, we try to make the money back through forum registrations.

Grimey Drawer
Got all the new computer stuff and tried to drop the same memory and drive setup in it hoping it would work like normal. Now it boots for a second before a bsod comes up for a split second and it reboots. I'd rather not reinstall everything if possible. :(

Does a bear split in the woods near Zheleznogorsk?
Recheck your connections. Something's probably just not plugged in all the way. If that doesn't fix it, start checking the RAM by booting with one stick in at a time. That's your other likely culprit.

Check your mobo manual to see which ram slot gets priority. Most Intel mobos require ram plugged into slot 2 or 4 for everything to post.
