langurmonkey posted:If you like chilled out puzzle games, then there is new game called "Hundreds" that I got last night and played a bit in bed when I should have been sleeping. The concept is simple - circles move around on the screen and you tap them to inflate them with points. You want to get 100 points in total. The catch is that if they touch while you are growing one then it's game over. Of course other gimmicks get added in quickly, like circles being attached together with ropes, circles that you can "pause" and super speed circles. I agree completely with this. It's a lot of fun and the music is great. It kinda reminded me of osmos. It's a collaboration of the developers of Canabalt, Solipskier and Gasketball, so there's that too. Some levels give you 'ciphers' which are strange strings of letters. Haven't been able to figure those out yet.

Fazana posted:Final Fantasy V is out in NZ, will be US $16.99 according to TA. No idea what price point that will be in the UK, £9.99 maybe?! So before somebody posted that the FF III and IV ports were basically hard mode. Is this also true for FFV? I saw that the sprites had been changed (they look horrible, but I'd be willing to overlook that) but how is the difficulty?

This thread made me buy Crabitron (okay the price drop helped too). It is fantastic. I spent 10 minutes just playing in the title screen poking at the crab's eyes and claws. Can't wait to try playing it multiplayer!

Duranki posted:Starbucks App codes! This time it's for some game I've never heard of called Circadia. Never heard of it before, but I just played around with it for a few minutes. It's a rhythm-type game, I guess? There's a white ball, plus some other colored balls. Different colors produce different tones, and different tones produce waves that travel at different speeds. The goal is to get all ball waves to hit the white ball at the same time. If this sounds like your idea of a good time, here are codes that will save you the price of a Spicy McChicken! Sweet, thanks! Took this one EH7LH9AAFNXP (The first one)

omg chael crash posted:I know most of you guys were expecting this, but I have to say a few missions in GTA:SA are nearly unplayable with the touch screen(iPad Air). Most of the combat is bullshit, too. Can't say I recommend picking it up until we get some slick wireless controls. Which missions? I've had no problems so far. And yeah the shooting is not very good (just keep the pew pew button held down and everything dies) but that was basically the same on PS2. I'm having a great time with it!

1st AD posted:The controls aren't a problem. Seriously, I think half the people bitching about the controls don't actually own the game. It plays fine. Just got to San Fierro and the only missions that gave me trouble were the same missions that I had trouble with on PS2. Y'know, because some are more difficult.

So while we're on the subject of sci-fi exploration, Waking Mars is on sale, and it's excellent. You play a guy exploring Martian caves, and you plant seeds to restore the plant population. It's part exploration and part puzzle (plants work together in different ways) and I'm having a blast. Get it! http://appshopper.com/games/waking-mars

Check out Windosill: it's very similar to monument valley (graphics and ganeplay) so it's a lot of fun.
