-Buffalo nickel? Indian on the front, no year

-1936 quarter

-1940 Canadian cent

-A bunch of nickels from 1964/65 that are basically mint

I have a bunch of other random coins from the 40s/50s. I think some silver certificates too.

Alright! I finally found some more of my coins. Check these out!

Also these were the bills, a silver certificate from 1957 and four $2 bills from 1976

It's funny to see a dollar bill from the days when the U.S. still used the silver/gold standard.

Yeah, I wanted to know, I mean.. if I take that to a bank, can I actually get a dollars worth of silver? It says I can on the bill.

I have too many old coins to scan for this thread. I have an almost complete Lincoln Cent collection from 1901-Onward, including most D and S. Also some old Indian pennies from the 19th century. I need to go get my scanner out.

Reposting from the other thread:

See how many currencies you can identify!

I've started making some videos about the coins I have. I'm a newbie, so this stuff should be old hat to most of you. Interesting to me, though.

Are you ready for another intensely boring video in which I talk about coins? I think you are!

On a visit to my parents last week, my dad gave me the foreign and oddity coins from his/his father's collection. Still sorting thru 'em (nothing's mounted), there's a weird bit of everything from 1937 swastika-festooned pfennigs to Missouri sales tax coins. Anyone need a whole roll of 1944 farthings, or parking tokens for various cities in Pennsylvania? :catstare:

Anyways, this guy's got me stumped:

A free Homestead, PA Chamber of Commerce parking token for the numisgoon who IDs this! :P

Got this as change from a soda machine today. Not that rare, but still cool. That's what, 25% nickel 75% copper?

Not quite "old" but I have a big bag of completely unsorted foreign coins from maybe a couple dozen different places across Europe, Asia, and South America. I have no idea what to do with it except maybe sell it on ebay. Is there such a thing as a magic international coinstar?

Is there a standard bulk rate for random money? (This is mostly pocket change from international travellers, so it's not particularly biased towards smaller denominations)

Define "big"
