It's really safe, relies a lot on sounding just a tiny bit like some of her more well received pop songs during the verse, and is a bit boring for it. That said, it's way less annoying than "Look What You Made Me Do" and everything except the pre-chorus of "Are You Ready For It".

I've been through it a couple of times now and I've got mixed feelings on the Fear part of Love + Fear. I'm enjoying it more than Love but it's still kind of disappointing after her previous work. I can see myself coming around to it but it's not quite up there lyrically and it's nowhere near as instantly catchy as most of Froot. I'm seeing her on the tour though so hopefully she really brings it.

Finally have a chance to listen to the new Marina album, Love + Fear. I am really enjoying this new music, I don't know if i'll say that I like this better than FROOT, but that is incredibly tough to top. If I had to rank all of her albums, they would all be very close to one another, been a big fan since Electra Heart came out.
