The setlist from the first show of the On the Run II tour is pretty incredible: https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/beyonce-and-jay-z/2018/principality-stadium-cardiff-wales-3bed48b0.html I'm seeing them in a couple of weeks and hope we get something similar. I'm only really missing All Night Long and Empire State of Mind on that list, but in return there's stuff from Watch the Throne which is great news.

I am excited, visiting Philly this weekend seeing Misterwives, Walk the Moon and Chvrches today. Edit: Chvrches were INCREDIBLE to see live. Laurens energy was amazing and the beats hit so hard live. I highly recommend seeing them live. I only wish they had a longer set. I finally got to see Carly Rae Jepsen perform with an orchestra even though I had to fly out to Vancouver to do so. It was amazing to hear Cut To The Feeling live with an orchestral arrangement and the crowd went absolutely insane when they realized what song it was. Honestly at this point, if you STILL don't understand why NFL players were kneeling and think it is in any way comparable to Roseanne, you aren't really worth the time it would take to try and explain how wrong you are. And I am willing to bet that in a vast majority of cases, it would do nothing to convince that person otherwise. You have to be completely out of touch, have zero empathy and understanding for other human beings, and generally just be a poo poo person to think that players bringing attention to police brutality is the same as making a racist rant on twitter.

This is fair, "colossal dumbass" would have been better wording on my part. I think a lot of people's instinct is to dig in when they are criticized for this kind of thing but if someone gets his ear about it and he listens, maybe it will go well. Social media is swinging the pendulum away from things getting swept under the rug but there ARE times where I definitely think we (myself included) can get TOO bloodthirsty and call for people's heads without giving them the chance to apologize - or when they do we just cry out "NOT GOOD ENOUGH" and write them off anyway. It's definitely better than the alternative we had before, but I'm hoping we can do even better and allow for contrition and absolution/forgiveness. But maybe i'm just an idealist

I saw 21 pilots before they got big (right before Vessel dropped) and I dind't like them that much. I gave them a second listen after Vessel and I changed my mind fairly quickly. The way they blended a bunch of different sounds and styles to produce a coherent album was something I enjoyed. Then Blurryface came out and I didn't like it as much as Vessel. After I listeed to Blurryface as an album, rather than a bunch of songs, I realized what Blurryface was about. I think I would be really into 21 Pilots if I were about 10 years younger. That's not exactly a criticism, I just think it works better at that stage of life.
