YouTuber posted:Can you link this app? I don't see any functionality in the XBMC Remote app I have. I'm just using Airplay to do it. Personally I think Yatse is much better than the official XBMC remote app.

I don't think SuperRepo has been mentioned in this thread? It's essentially a really big repo with a clever category system. Here's a quote from their own introduction: quote:SuperRepo is one giant repository plus several subrepositories for XBMC addons and skins. Unlike many other meta-repositories, SuperRepo is capable of processing the included addons. This makes it possible to categorize addons, fix dependencies and patch the addons on the fly. The outcome is one giant…SuperRepo! http://www.superrepo.org/

Revol posted:Wow, that looks really cool. But the buttons on the remote side look to be largely useless. https://github.com/ErikLove/MeleProxy/ The air mouse functionality in the Mele is VERY impressive, like a Wii remote based only on accelerometers, but mainly useless for XBMC, so MeleProxy disables it. There keyboard is disabled when flipped like a remote and vice versa, så you don't risk messing up when operating the remote/keyboard. I have a Harmony 885, but the Mele is so much better and responsive that I never use the Harmony for XBMC anymore.

Call Me Charlie posted:I'm trying to transition from Plex so apologizes if these are really dumb questions. 1) http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Add-on:Missing_Movie_Scanner 2) I'm not sure, but I guess you can create a nfo-file in the folder and add the plot yourself? Not sure if this will be overridden by the scraper. 3) I think Universal Move Scraper can use IMDBs ratings. 4) Yes, all settings are in the userdata-folder, so back up that one. You can also use XBMC Backup to do the job for you: http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Add-on:XBMC_Backup

Jadius posted:I occasionally use Limelight on my Fire TV and a wireless 360 controller. It works okay for some things, not for others. The video lag means that anything super twitchy is out, so I wouldn't suggest Counter-Strike on it. Playing New Super Mario Bros through Dolphin works pretty great, though. I tried googling, but as primarliy a console/Linux guy I can't quite grasp this. What would I need in order to do the fantastic things you take for granted?

Minty Swagger posted:Yeah thats to use the limelight setup which is android based. Steam streaming does it without any level of special hardware/OS but its not something you can easily dump into android. torjus check out if steamOS can somehow do it on your machine as it's linux based? I'm very interested in the Dolphin emulator, since I recently retired the old Wii, but that would limit me to a Windows machine with a NVIDIA-card, right?
